oh my word it is full of fear inducing tactics....doom and gloom outlooks.... anxiety inducing methods to develop absolute control over witnesses and cripple them in any attempt to think for themselves!.

today's wt study (nov 15, 2014 page 4, par 4.. the governing body in jerusalem sent the apostles peter and john to these samaritan converts, and they laid their hands on them, and they began to receive holy spirit.
(acts 8:5, 6, 14-17) .
there are multiple references to acts 15 whereby "the apostles and older men" were the governing body.. i have never noticed this applied to "the apostles" only in acts 8:14 before.. is this another new item to reinforce the concept of the governing body?.
i was deleted as the cobe after i let my adult child move back home and he admitted that he fornicated under my roof while my wife and i where away on a rbc project.
of course the elder mode in me kicked him out of the house.. the elders moved quickly to remove me because i was too involved in "theocractic activities", i had neglected my adult son.. i accepted this primarily because i didn't want to serve with a boe that did not want me.
i was devastated however because it was the only life i knew.
Welcome James Jack I to was a elder for almost 25 years, P.O. in two congregations before they changed the title. Much involved in the RBC before the name change. I know how you are feeling. I too had a adult son get into trouble with a high profile P.O.s daughter. They had oral sex. Somehow it was all my fault. I was even accused of teaching my son oral sex. How could my son do such a thing with this outstanding P.O.s daughter. When the elders asked me that question I told them it takes two to tangle. All they could say was I did not teach my son right. All they care about was the so called good name of this high profiled rich elder. The only thing that keep me from being removed at the time was my son was not living with us. I look back at this time and wish they would have. It would have been the best thing in my life. I would have been 12 years younger and free of all that nonsense of being a elder. Like all cults they use guilt to try to control you and judge you. I am sorry you have gone through this but better now than latter. I know this will take some time for you to deal with all this information you are getting but that is what it takes. Best of luck to you and I hope you and your wife will find balance in your life. my mom called me yesterday to ask how i was doing.
i hadn't seen her in a while, so it was nice to hear her voice.
we went through the motions of jw small talk and then she started telling me about her co visit from last week.
im not an attorney and i could not record the hearing, so please forgive me if i make mistakes in relating what i remember of the oral argument hearing for jane doe (i.e., candace conti) versus the watchtower bible & tract society on january 14, 2015 and the length of this post.. i arrived at the civic center/union plaza in san francisco, ca about 7:30. the area is very nice with a few homeless people sleeping in the park across from the courthouse.
it took me about 10 minutes to find the clerks office for the court on the first floor, which opened at 8:00.. once the clerks office opened, the two clerks who i talked with were very polite and helpful.
the arguments for jane doe (i.e., candace conti) versus the watchtower bible & tract society were scheduled 5th out of (i think) 8. while i was in the office a cameraman and another person for nbc arrived asking about the hearing for candace contis case.. the courtroom for the 1st appellate court is on the 4th floor and takes up most of that floor.

Just read your post. I don't know if I like this new site or not. Thank you for your hard work to keep us up to date on what is going on with the Wt. Hopefully everything will come out in the wash. I remember the letters the Wt. sent all the congregation in the Tampa Bay area back in the early 90's when the P.O. of the Clearwater congregation was arrested for child abuse. It was on all the TV news and newspapers at the time. What I remember about that letter was how scared the Wt. sounded in the letter. Saying things like don't talk to any news agencies, called the Wt. first and look out for those bad news people coming into your hall asking questions. At the time I had the thinking of them against us. So I was in agreement with it. Now I see what cowards the Wt. really are. Keep up the good work and I will talk to you soon. Still Totally ADD
i have noticed something even long before even looking into ttatt, something about morris bothered me.
i am personally very attuned to body language, facial expressions and general subtleties in human interaction.
there was something about his face that really bothered me, and i will explain it.
if you, like me, have noticed the sudden increase in hysteria in the khs right now, i put it down to that jw tv site.
its's far more extensive than i thought it was, i thought it was just 1, 1 hour program a month.
there's a s*** load of videos on that site.. and the real problem, from just watching a clip from each video, is that these guys are clearly "mentally unstable".
in 2018, cyprus goes bankrupt (again).
many of its inhabitants, lacking jobs and prospectives of a better future, emigrate to more prosperous countries.
cyprus' society is on the brink of collapse.
